Therapeutic Approach

My clinical approach is humanistic and trauma-informed, with a strong emphasis on compassion-focused and strengths-based therapy. I prioritize the development of a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship as the foundation for effective treatment.

I work with clients to explore how early experiences, trauma, and learned patterns influence current functioning, emotional regulation, and behavior. Treatment focuses on increasing self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and adaptive coping skills.

I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and tailoring interventions to each client’s clinical needs and treatment goals. These approaches support symptom reduction, behavior change, and improved psychological flexibility while maintaining a client-centered and strengths-oriented framework.

My goal is to support clients in developing effective coping strategies, increasing self-efficacy, and improving overall functioning while honoring individual values, autonomy, and lived experience.

You are safe here. You are held here. You can rise here.

I’m different from a lot of Therapists in that I haven’t settled on one theory. I believe blending the theories works best for my brain and the clients’. I have studied and utilize these different types of therapeutic approaches.
